Lovely folk architecture

I must admit that more and more I like the neighbourhoods where buildings were "designed" rather by ordinary people in different times. Compared to those districts designed at once by architects they, in my humble opinion, present more layers, textures, stories, provoke more questions and also images of people who created them and their endeavours. This set of Canadian ice huts is a good example of such folk architecture. The first one is my favourite.
